Tesamorelin is a synthetic analog of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), consisting of 44 amino acids with the molecular formula C221H366N72O67S and a molecular weight of 5,135.9 g/mol. It is also known by the research designation TH9507 and CAS number 218949-48-5.
Structurally, Tesamorelin matches the first 44 amino acids of human GHRH but includes a trans-3-hexenoic acid modification at the tyrosine residue in position 1. This chemical modification enhances stability and increases resistance to enzymatic degradation. Classified as a GHRH analog, it is supplied as a white to off-white lyophilized powder that dissolves readily in water.
Refrigeration is required after reconstitution. For research use only. Not approved for human or animal consumption.
